This unassuming hostel on the 10th storey of a bustling building is a 2-minute walk from the Tsim Sha Tsui metro station and a 6-minute walk from the Avenue of Stars at Victoria Harbour. perfect place, you have everything you need

I travel to Hong Kong on business twice a year, staying for over a week each time, so a regular traveller. I stayed regularly at the Apple because its charm outweighed its downmarket provision and location in Chungking Mansions. The staff stayed for years and always seemed pleased to see me. They were always helpful, going out of their way to make my stay good. While basic there were some really good facilities, like a freezer and microwave access.|Rooms were cleaned daily and bedding changed routinely on alternate days. I also got a great room rate as a regular. In short my custom was appreciated|I won't be back. There are new owners. They don't seem to value building a relationship with regulars. On my last stay I was put in one room for one night then moved to a room which had the corner of the bed and mattress cut off so the door could be opened. I had to ask for clean bedding after six days and if my room was ever cleaned in my ten day stay I was not aware of it. Swatted cockroaches stayed where they fell. They asked when I was leaving when I was back home. |I didn't expect them to fawn and suck up but I felt completely taken for a sucker.|What a shame
