I did not stay at the Apple Hotel - Causeway Bay, BUT my friend, who did stay, and I had excellent service. My friend, in his early 80s, had a serious health issue. The Apple Hotel supervisor Ms. Delia Santiago arranged for an ambulance and secured my friends belongings (including passport and mobile phone). Liaising with the hospital and the HK police, she only released the belongings to me when it was confirmed I was allowed to take possession. She also showed genuine concern for my friend's health and asked that I pass on her best regards. I can only hope that if anything similar happens to me that I am staying in a similar place that takes the appropriate action.
