ABSOLUTELY A NIGHTMARE! I arrived a little early (thank God !) I showed the lady (Joy) my receipt but the booking company had my name wrong. She verified the booking NUMBER but then told me I cannot have the room until the company fixed my name! I had NO WIFI, was in the plane over a 2 day period and she refused to accept my PAYMENT RECEIPT AND BOOKING CONFIRMATION and basically FORCED ME TO LEAVE!! She was the ABSOLUTE WORSE person I have EVER met who works for a hotel! She was dressed like she was going to go to a club and even said “I have other business to handle so you have to leave”!!! WTF??!!!! As I was forced to leave I slipped down some stairs (it’s on 15th floor) and pulled my back! So NOW IM INJURED ON MY 5 day only vacation!! Let me tell you IF THIS IS HOW CANADA HOTEL (was called CANADA INN— makes me wonder why they changed their name!) treats its clients THEN THEY ARE A HORRIBLE HOST !!! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS HOTEL !!! The place appears very very dirty also (not at all like the pictures) so BEWARE ! There are many other nicer places in the same building so AVOID THESE PEOPLE —- and they REFUSED TO GIVE ME A REFUND!!!

Great location, friendly helpful staff, clean room, good microwave. Lots of cheap curry places downstairs, close to the MTR, ferry terminals, public park and mosque. Met some interesting characters in the queue to the lift. Don't think you could ask for more in a hotel.
