I am writing to complain about the unacceptable room conditions during my stay on April 30, 2025 (IHG Rewards No: 384976268). 1. Major Hygiene Issues: - Upon entering my confirmed non-smoking room. I immediately noticed a strong cigarette smell - Further inspection revealed visible cigarette ash residue around the bathtub area (see attached photos) - This clearly indicates the room was neither properly cleaned nor inspected prior to my arrival 2. Poor Handling of the Situation: - While the front desk did arrange a room change after my complaint, the staff: - Failed to offer any sincere apology - Did not explain how such a hygiene breach could occur. It has been 6 days since my stay (as of May 6), yet I have received: - No apology from management - No explanation for this service failure As a loyal IHG member, I am extremely disappointed by this experience at what should be a premium property.

The hotel is run down, the RFID in the elevators that gives you access to your room floor is outdated and slow. The rooms have torn curtains. Don't take a look under the bed because you will see most a lot of dirt and dust. AC vents in the room are dirty. The staff are just going through the paces, only the housekeeping staff are friendly. Overall an average experience.

I stayed one night with family. It is conveniently located above a subway station, in a suburb where the friends I'm visiting live. It is above a shopping mall.||The room is starting to show some age by is still perfectly fine. It was "low floor" room facing the city side, but it was still high enough for a great city view. It was a twin beds room, the beds were big enough for me in one bed, and my 2 kids in the other. I particularly like the charging console between the beds, which could concurrently wireless charge my iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods.| |As a Diamond IHG member, I really appreciated that they honored all member benefits. We were offered welcome drinks at their 47th floor restaurant, and daily breakfast for 2 (so my other kid wasn't included), but due to my schedule I didn't enjoy it this time. Apparently they provide a complementary shuttle service to the Kowloon high speed train station but I didn't utilize it either. That said I really appreciated they providing all these services.
