The location is near the harbor, walking distance which gives you the opportunity to take a walk around the city. Shops are located nearby. The room depends on your needs, and within budget. The staff was accommodating, and helpful. You can leave your bags there after booking out. Finding the place, use the photos and also their are signs you can read and follow.

I tried to contact the hostel a couple weeks before my arrival to let them know that I will be checking in late. They never responded. I tried to contact them again prior to my arrival. Again, no response. I got to the hostel and no one was at the check in area. I called the numbers posted at the hostel multiple times with no response. I contacted the website that I booked through and they were able to contact the owner / operator. They would not refund me my money although I was not able to check in that night or stay the night. I was very upset. I had to find another place to stay that same night at a moments notice. ||The hostel itself is located in a seedy place. I was traveling on my own and I felt uncomfortable approaching the hostel. There were all kinds of shady people just hanging around. I would not recommend this hostel. I was told that the owner owns a bunch of hostels in this building. Some are cleaner than others. Overall, it was in a shady, area. I would not go back there or recommend this place to anyone. Please beware!

we booked marrigold hostel but was transferred by the owner to “New London Hostel” as he also owns it and it is a “branch” of marrigold located at block A. Lift smells like rotten fish and is only up to 16F. you’ll have to walk your way up yo 17F were New London is located. You’ll pass by a mini dump site at the foot of the staircase and the area is soooo dirty! Once you get inside the unit, you’ll be greeted by another mini dump site of “cleaning” tools and supplies. The unit smells like it is bathe with chlorine or some other disinfectant which hurts the nose. when we finally get into the assigned room, it was too cramped for a family of 3adults and 2kids. double bed is not actually a standard double bed. almost half the standard size!!! the toilet’s door is damaged! you can only enter side ways coz its too small! you cant even stretch your arm in any direction! its too dirty and damaged! the shower is damaged as well! the heater is out of control! when you take a shower, the water flows out the toilet and floods the room! it was so messy that we left the place the very moment we were able to get a booking in a “real hotel”! it’s the worst ever!

Small but right smack in the middle of tsim sha tsui. Lots of things to see around. Neat and clean room. With internet and own T&B. Jollibee nearby is a plus.. must try chickenjoy! ;-)|Money changers at the lobby. Shopping area.
